EDWARDSBURG - Services for Joyce A. Knoebber, 60, of 23691 South Shore Drive, Eagle Lake, Edwardsburg, who died at 9 p.m. Monday in her home, following an illness, will be at 11 a.m Friday in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Burial will be in Edwardsburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m., and one hour prior to services Friday in the church.

Mrs. Knoebber taught in Edwardsburg Public Schools for 281/2 years. She was born April 29, 1934, in Mishawaka, and lived in Muncie, Ind., Connecticut and Wisconsin before moving to Edwardsburg. On Aug. 11, 1956, in Edwardsburg, as Joyce A. Freehauf, she married Edward Henry Knoebber. He died Jan. 27, 1976. Surviving are two daughters, Frances Hogan of Fort Wayne and Christine Knoper of Allendale, Mich.; a son, Thomas of Ashville, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Lou Brennan of Indianapolis. A daughter, Lynne Marie Knoebber, died May 28, 1989. She was a member of the church, National and Michigan Education associations and Indiana University, Bloomington, Alumni.
