SOUTH BEND - Constance Joan Lamont Troeger, 78, passed away on Saturday, November 10th, 2012, at Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on September 20th, 1934, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Kenneth and Margaret (Beckman) Lamont, who along with her infant brother, Bobby, preceded her in death.

Connie is survived by her spouse, Earl Troeger Jr. of South Bend; her sons, Jeffry Kenneth Troeger and wife, Susan (Mizen) of Steamboat Springs, CO, and their children, Chris and Matt; Thomas Lamont Troeger and wife, Libby (Dora) of Fishers, IN, and their children, Chad, Brett, Wade and Aubrey; and David Bruce Troeger and wife, Christine (Rhodes) of Evergreen, CO, and their children, Carly and Lauren; and her brother, Dennis Lamont and wife, Vicki of South Bend, IN.

Connie grew up in South Bend, attending McKinley and Jefferson Schools. She graduated from John Adams High School in 1952. After high school she attended William Woods College in Fulton, Missouri. She was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority, The Women's Art League, Service Guild, and was a volunteer at Logan Center. Connie loved spending time with her three sons and eight grandchildren. All can remember the many years at Birch Lake and Nana's many treats and presents for her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 14th, from 4 until 8 p.m. in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 15th, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, 375 West Cleveland Road.

Following the burial, the family invites relatives and friends for a luncheon and celebration of Connie's life at Papa Vino's Restaurant, 5110 Edison Lakes Parkway, Mishawaka. Connie's family would like to thank the third floor staff at Memorial's Pulmonary Medicine section for the dedication, support and loving care they provided during her illness, along with the same care provided at Holy Cross Sanctuary.
