Judith L. Kindig, 79, of Wellington, FL, formerly of South Bend, IN passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 in the Wellington Regional Medical Center, Wellington, FL. She was born on May 22, 1932 in Teegarden, IN to the late Roy L. and Inez (Truax) Roelke.
Judith is survived by three daughters, Maureen (Leonard) Copeland of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Michelle Hummer of Wellington, FL and Denise Beauthein of Loxahatchee, FL; son, Michael Kindig of Wellington, FL; five grandchildren, Heather, Nicholas, Justin, Alex and Victoria; sister, Carole (Mickey) Vanscoy of Wellington, FL and brother, John (Nancy) Roelke of South Bend, IN.
Judith was a graduate of John Adams High School, South Bend, IN and Stephens College in MO. She was a real estate agent in South Bend and Wellington, FL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
