Maxine S. Squibb

MISHAWAKA - Maxine Squibb, 62, of South Main Street, died at 7:10 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mrs. Squibb was a former owner-operator of Rainbow Hall until May 1993. She was born Feb. 20, 1931 in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.
On Oct. 1, 1950, in South Bend as Maxine Silber, she married William Squibb Sr. He survives with three daughters, Susan Smith of Edwardsburg, Donna Daly of Osceola and Tammy Penrod of Granger, a son, William Jr. of Osceola, eight grandchildren, a great-grandchild; a sister, Mary Simcox of Miami Fla and a brother, Max Silber of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Today in the funeral home.
