Gerald K. (Jerry) Turley, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2015. He was born in South Bend, Indiana, on October 15, 1932, to John Patrick Turley and Dorothy Davis Turley.

Jerry graduated from the University of Notre Dame, class of 1954. He was honored to serve his country on active duty in the US Navy from 1954-1960, serving in both Guam and San Diego. After leaving the Navy, Jerry worked at Kaiser Steel Fontana for 23 years as an industrial engineer. He was a long time parishioner at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Loma Linda.

A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Jerry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Grace; daughter, Maureen Turley O'Connell (Danny); son, Tom Turley (Molly); daughter, Diane Turley Grich (Bob); daughter, Gail Turley; brother James Turley (Sharon); sister Marilyn Turley Fitzgerald (Tom); grandchildren Brennan and Connor Alvarez; Katie, Shannon and Erin Turley; Stephen and Natalie Grich; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with rosary will be held from 4-8pm on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Montecito Mortuary. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10am on Friday, January 30, 2015, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Loma Linda. A military graveside ceremony will follow the mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.

A reception will be held at Redlands Country Club immediately following the graveside ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association to continue research for a cure of this debilitating disease.
