Rose Marie Lindahl, age 87 of Chesterton, Ind., passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013.

She was born December 29, 1925, in South Bend, Ind., to Rudolph and Rose (Arndt) Wolfe, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Gerald (Kathlene) Lindahl of Streamwood, Ill.; sister, Patricia Phillips of Lutherville, Maryland; grandchildren, Denise (Richard) Wiktor, Diana (Danny) Gunsteen, Steven (Robin) Harper, Erin (Matt) Donahue; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Amanda, Michael, Andrew, Laura, and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lindahl; son, Raymond Lindahl; daughters, Patricia and Rosemarie Lindahl; brother, George Wolfe; and sister, Elvina Gilmer.

Rose Marie was a registered nurse and worked primarily in private duty care. She was a member of St. Patrick Church where she was involved with the women's club and also was in charge of the funeral luncheon planning for many years. She was also a part of the Jackson Hill Toppers.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N Calumet Rd., Chesterton, Ind., with Father James Meade officiating. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
