Mildred L. Eippert, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024, at the age of 98 in South Bend, Indiana. Born on January 27, 1926, in Lowell, Michigan, Mildred's life was a tapestry of dedication, love, and service, woven with the threads of her passions and relationships.

Mildred was the beloved daughter of the late Vivian Beebe and Eugenia Beebe Gwilt. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Bybee, her second husband, Glenn Fisher, and third husband, Bert Eippert, with whom she shared many treasured years. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Groen, her sisters Beatrice Nelson, Laura Netto, Barbara Marvin, Margery Carter, Patricia Woodcox, her brother Lawrence Beebe, and her grandson Bradley Fawley.

She is survived by her loving daughters, LouAnn Anglin (Rick Armstrong) of Osceola and JoAnn Hancock of Mishawaka. Mildred's legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Robin Quintanilla, Jon Anglin, Dawn Schoen, David Sweet, and Stephanie Makin, sixteen great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories and lessons she imparted.

Mildred's professional life was marked by a decade of dedicated service as a clerk at Tepe's, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her warm, welcoming presence. Her colleagues and customers alike appreciated her for her reliability and her ever-present smile.

Beyond her work, Mildred was deeply involved in her community, particularly as a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star in Boynton Beach, Florida. Her commitment to the organization was a testament to her belief in the value of service and fellowship.

A talented seamstress, Mildred created beautiful wedding and bridesmaid dresses, as well as school clothes, pouring her love and creativity into every stitch. Her skills with the needle and thread were matched only by her dedication to her family, for whom she crafted countless garments over the years.

Mildred's interests were as varied as they were passionate. She was a leader of the Blue Birds and the Campfire Girls. She enjoyed the camaraderie and adventures that came with campfires and the great outdoors. Her love for golf was more than a hobby; it was a way to connect with friends and enjoy the beauty of nature. Mildred loved taking cruises. She enjoyed many cruises over the years.

As we bid farewell to Mildred L. Eippert, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey complete, and a soul at peace. Her story does not end here, for she lives on in the hearts of her family, the smiles of her friends, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and grace.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Palmer Funeral Homes – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN 46615 with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma, OK 73123.
