Margaret Rose Walter

SOUTH BEND - Margaret Rose (Doran) Walter (88) passed away on Saturday (9/20/14) at St. Paul's Sanctuary in South Bend, IN. She joins her beloved husband of 65 years, David E. Walter who preceded her in death in May of this year.
Margaret was born on July 19, 1926, the oldest daughter of M. Edward & Edna Doran. They and three siblings, Jack, Mary Ann and Jim have all preceded her in death. Her youngest sister Marilyn (Doran) Dennig survives.
Margaret and Dave were the proud parents of five (5) sons Kevin, Patrick, Craig, Chris & Kirk
who blessed them with 16 grand children and 13 great grand children.
Through out her years Margaret Rose was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, theatre, shopping, and
especially the annual Girl's Trip with her daughter-in-laws. However, her main focus was her family. For them, she was always there providing her support and love.
The family will be forever grateful and treasure the many fond memories that Mom/ Grammie
made so special.
The family will receive visitors September 25, 2014 one hour prior (9-10am) to the funeral mass
at 10:00am at St. Anthony's DePauda, where the family were long time members.
