SOUTH BEND - Betty J. Alabaugh, 68, of Oakdale St., died at 3:40 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital of natural causes.
She was born April 18, 1926, in South Bend, and lived most of her life in this area. On Jan. 24, 1945, in South Bend, as Betty J. Stegman, she married Richard G. Alabaugh. He survives with three daughters, Peggy Miller of Mishawaka, Judi Bankowski of Deer Park, Ill., and Debra Bankowski of South Bend; seven grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Cremation will take place.
Friends may call one hour before services. Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army.
