SOUTH BEND – Bruce Harold Goffeney, 64, of Farmington, Mich., formerly of South Bend, died Sunday in Farmington after an illness.
Mr. Goffeney was employed by Progress Patterns, Southfield, Mich. He was born July 27, 1927, in South Bend. He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley Roth; two daughters, Deborah L. Karr and Pat Jack; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Joseph and Walley.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Farmington.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Salem United Church of Christ. Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, Farmington, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the American Cancer Society.
