SOUTH BEND, IN - Dolores (Dolly) Marie Saylor, 92, the devoted and loving centerpiece of a true American family, passed away on May 10, 2019 in a private care facility in South Bend, Indiana.

Dolly is survived by her four sons, John, Joseph, Jeffrey, and Jason Saylor, 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Jack Saylor, and one brother, Edward Kelley.

Born in South Bend, Indiana on June 27, 1927 to Elmer and Frances Kelley, Dolly spent her entire life in the town of her birth, working and raising her family and building a lifetime of loving memories.

Dolly was a graduate of South Bend Adams High School. Soon after graduation, she began her professional career that began at Jackson Elementary School and led to positions at the Bendix Corporation, where she curated corporate blueprint archives for the engineering department, and LS Ayres, where she managed the china counter.

Always willing to help in any way, Dolly handmade vestments and other garments for the altar boys at St. Jude's, including her sons.
