Wava Waneta Walsh

Services for Wava W. Walsh, 56, of 736 S. Kenmore St., who died at 4:45 a.m. Thursday in Healthwin Hospital of natural causes, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Bethany Lutheran Church.

Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in St. Josephs Funeral Home.

Mrs Walsh was a member of the church, the Women’s Altar Guild of the church and the Bethany Lutheran Church Sewing Group.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

Mrs. Walsh was born April 29, 1928, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident. On May 31, 1947, in South Bend, as Wava Douglas, she married Patrick T. Walsh, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Joyce Bernas and Carol Santa, both of South Bend; a son, Alan James Walsh of Pasadena, Texas; five grandchildren; a sister, Bernice Scofield of Niles; and a brother, Kenneth Douglas of Mishawaka.
