SOUTH BEND - Ruth Ann Raabe, 88, passed away November 2, 2014, in Cardinal Nursing Home. Born in South Bend on January 19, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rena (Luttman) Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Keith "BK" Raabe. They had one son, Neil (daughter-in-law, Sharon) Raabe, who survives in Fort Wayne, IN. Ruth modeled in her younger years. She worked in the public school's administration department and for the public libraries, from where she retired. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in South Bend.
A graveside service will be held TODAY at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Riley Children's Hospital or to St. Jude's Hospital. To send condolences, please visit www.McGannHay.com.
