Bernice Phyllis Sonneborn

SOUTH BEND - Bernice P. Sonneborn, 86, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 5, 2015. Born September 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Eleanor (Vorn) Keb.
On October 28, 1950, Bernice married Frederick J. Sonneborn II. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Keb. Left to cherish her memory are two children, Rebecca "Becky" Womer and Frederick J Sonneborn III, both of South Bend; three grandchildren, Pamela (Joe) Wilfing, Sara (Jason) Hawn and Elizabeth (Dan) DeMeester; five great-grandchildren, Hendrik Wilfing, Olivia Wilfing, Julia Hawn, Colton DeMeester and Sofia Wilfing; and one sister, Ruth Wiltrout.
Bernice was a 1946 graduate of John Adams High School. She worked as a bookkeeper at Singer General Tire and a cashier at the Notre Dame Bookstore. She was a founding member of the South Bend Cruise Club and served on committees for South Bend Parades. She worked hard but always made time for her family. She will be dearly missed.

Not sure who the one picture is with dark hair. That is not Bernice. I know because Bernice is my grandma.
