Shirley Jean Barber

Oct. 28, 1927 – Sep. 27, 1969

Mrs. Shirley J. Barber, (nee Russwurm) 42, of 1012 S. 23rd St., died Saturday at 7:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born Oct. 28, 1927, and was married to Stanley Barber on Jan. 19, 1947, who survives. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her parents, Francis Russwurm; her stepfather George Stewart and her mother, Helen Stewart; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Bradburn; two sons, John Louis Barber, presently serving in the armed forces in Guam, and Paul David Barber; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert H. Russwurm of Wyatt, Ind., and Richard H. Russwurm.

Friends may call at the Hollis Funeral Chapel Monday after 7 p.m. Further arrangements are incomplete.

 

BARBER – Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley J. Barber are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Rev. Donald Guertin, C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hollis Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
