Barbara Anne Martin

Mrs. Barbara Anne Martin, 53, of 1420 E. Dubail St., died at 5:30 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was employed by Montgomery Ward.
She was born May 15, 1929, in Chrisman, Ill., and lived in South Bend most of her life, coming from Illinois. On Sept. 14, 1947, in Mishawaka, she married Arden E. Martin, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. B.J. (Rebecca) Thompson and Mrs. Michael (Janet) Thompson, both of Mishawaka; a son, Randall A. of South Bend; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. James T. (Beverlie) Beck, a South Bend city councilman; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Temple Wiseman of South Bend.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel, B.J. Thompson will officiate, assisted by Rev. George Ebright Sr. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m to noon Friday in the funeral home.
