Kenneth Lamar May

I haven't been able to locate Kenneth May's father, William May, b.c1899 in Illinois and 2nd husband to Grace (Avery) Chamness, whose 1st husband died in 1916. She remarried @1926 to Mr. May and they lived in Mishawauka, St. Joseph, Indiana when the 1930 census was taken on Apr 7, 1930. Kenneth was 6 months of age when the census was taken.
Other siblings were Bernice, age 15, and William, age 14, both born in Illinois. The family returned to Illinois by 1940, and (Kenneth) Lamar, age 10, and Shirley Lee, also age 10, were living w/their parents. Kenneth attended college for 5 yrs., served in the military and was discharged in 1959, then was a teacher in Indiana for many yrs. His wife was Barbara Knoll. He was diagnosed with non Hodgkins Lymphoma and suffered with it for 8 yrs. before he died at home. I would be glad to provide you w/census, etc. information if you wish, to verify the above statements. Thank you for your work on Find a Grave. Kenneth is a distant relative and I am not requesting his transfer as I am not closely related.
