Richard F. Andrzejewski

SOUTH BEND - Richard F. Andrzejewski, 79, passed away at 9:15 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital. Richard was born on October 6, 1930, in South Bend, to the late Fred and Frances Andrzejewski.

On February 10, 1959, in Granger, he married Marsha, she preceded him in death in 1990. He is survived by his children, Marsha (Scott) Williams of Elkhart, Mark (Marie) Andrzejewski of Plymouth and Terry (Laura) Andrzejewski of Granger; five grandchildren, Christina (Jason) Yates, Leslie Andrzejewski, Cameron Redding, Hailee Andrzejewski and Cory Andrzejewski and two great-grandchildren, Courtney Nazimek and Joey Nazimek; and by a nephew, Dan Palka.

Richard graduated from Adams High School and honorably served his county in the United States Air Force. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, R.C. Air Planes and photography. Richard retired in 1995 from ADT Security Systems as an installer.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, in the funeral home.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society . For those who are unable to attend the Funeral Liturgy, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjgh.net.
