Alberta Jane Rush

SOUTH BEND - Alberta J. Rush, 65, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of South Bend, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Desert Samaritan Hospital, Mesa. Mrs. Rush was born Dec. 22, 1928, in South Bend, moving to Mesa in 1957.
On Nov. 20, 1949, she married Robert Rush. He survives, with two daughters, Cynthia Land of Memphis, Tenn., and Rojane Mattingly of Mesa; two sons, Ransom and Reid, both of Mesa; her mother, Marie Addison of South Bend; five grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas D. Addison of South Bend.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Argos. Melcher's Chapel of the Roses, Mesa, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Transplant, 1441 N. 12th St., Phoenix, Ariz. 85006.
