Henry Eugene Gustafson

Henry Eugene Gustafson, 48, of the Carlyle Nursing Home, died at 7:15 a.m. today in the nursing home after a long illness. He was a former employee of the missile division of the Bendix Corp., having worked there 15 years. Gustafson was a John Adams High School graduate.
Born on April 15, 1928, in South Bend, he had lived here his lifetime. Surviving are three sons, David P. of Niles, and Andrew L. and Bruce A., both of South Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Griffith of Elkhart and Loraine Gustafson of South Bend and a brother, Robert H. Gustafson of South Bend.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Forest G. Hay & Son Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood, Rev. Joseph F. Murphy of the Pastoral Care Department of St. Joseph Hospital will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetic Association.
