Dear Aunt Joan, Thank you so very much for Uncle Cas and you taking me in way back in August 1975. The both of you were so very helpful in my walk with the Lord. I am going to miss our e-mails and your wisdom on questions I had about what I had read in the bible or some of the visions I would have and what they meant. I will be eternally grateful for all that you have done for me. Jeanie

We have more fond memories than we can share here. Our history with Joan, Cash and her family began in 1964 when we moved back from Michigan. We bought the house in back of them. They were our first neighbors. They were a great example of what real Christians were supposed to be. Joan talked about the people in the Bible like she knew them. She was the most Christian woman that we knew. We shared many times together and one day she gave me a book that I read that began my hunger for a personal relationship with Jesus. I have always considered her my spiritual mother. (She said many times that she shared much joy in watching me grow in the Lord.) Though we both moved from Melrose Park we still remained sisters in Jesus. We thank the Lord for moving us to her "back yard" in 1964. We know she is happy in heaven with Jesus now.
