Robert Eugene Holcomb

January 16, 1929  -  June 30, 2025

Robert Eugene Holcomb, 96, of Evansville, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025 at Deaconess Hospital. He was born January 16, 1929 in Miles City, Montana to the late Muriel Elizabeth (Small) and Harold John Holcomb.

Robert was a store manager at West Building Materials in Florida. He was an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan and especially liked Kyle Busch. Robert cherished the time he spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ruth Jolene (Boyd) Holcomb; daughter, Karol Holcomb; sons, Chris Holcomb and Brent Williams; sister, Andrea Kennedy; and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, Craig Holcomb; sisters, Betty Cook, Nadine Wickizer and Ann Deckard; and brothers, Phillip Holcomb, Delbert Holcomb and Terry Holcomb.

At Robert’s request, there will be no services. Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel is handling his arrangements.
