SOUTH BEND - Kevin Lee Agnew, 56, passed away at Kindred Health Care in Mishawaka, Indiana on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at 8:35 a.m., after fighting a life-long illness.

Kevin was born January 13, 1959 in his life-time residence of South Bend, Indiana to the union of the late Ezell and Helen Agnew Sr. Kevin accepted Christ at an early age and his spiritual home was Emmanuel Community Church under the guidance of Pastor Shirley Gadson.

Kevin was also known as A.G. and had worked in factories most of his life. He was a huge Indianapolis Colts fan who enjoyed baseball and basketball, He was full of life and also was known as a tough cookie. Kevin was a life-long music fan. Anyone who knew Kevin was an instant friend.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Sharey Agnew (Anthony Rogers), and Jameisha Agnew; three granddaughters, Tysharae Mitchell, Camreel Powell and Jonia Agnew; two great-grandsons, Brandon and Brylin Rose; seven sisters and three brothers, Linda Deberry of Atlanta, Georgia, Janice (Elder George) Matthews, Karen Williams, Joyce Jackson, Doris Agnew, Dennis Patterson (Deanna Dietze) all of South Bend, Indiana, Ronaldo Minnis, Lora (Chauncey, who preceded her in death) Williams, Indianapolis, Indiana, Raymond Patterson, Salt Lake, Indiana, and Ezell Agnew Jr., Phoenix, Arizona' He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces and nephews, including Terrance Agnew, who went over and beyond in his last days.

Funeral services for Mr. Kevin Lee Agnew will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Alford's Mortuary where arrangements have been entrusted.
