Haiyen Au Vo, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend, passed away on July 2, 2025, in South Bend, Indiana, at the age of 49. Born on September 20, 1975, in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, Haiyen brought light and joy into the lives of all who knew her.

Haiyen was the beloved daughter of Thanh Huu Vo and Ngoctuyet Au. Her family's journey brought them to the United States, where Haiyen grew up to be a pillar of strength and love. She graduated from John Adams High School and went on to pursue higher education at Purdue University, where she graduated in 1998. Her passion for helping others led her to a distinguished career as a Doctor of Pharmacy, where she dedicated her life to the well-being of her community.

In her personal life, Haiyen was a beacon of generosity and kindness. She married her soulmate, Phillip Mark on May 31, 2019 in Mishawaka, Indiana and together they created a beautiful family, including their daughter Annie Au Vo and son Quan Au Arevalo Vo. Haiyen's love for her family was boundless, and she instilled in her children the values of compassion, integrity, and hard work.

Haiyen's brother, Nguyen Vo (Isabella), will fondly remember her as a dedicated sister who always extended her support and guidance. Her parents, Thanh and Ngoctuyet, will cherish the memories of their daughter, who honored them with her achievements and her caring heart.
Throughout her life, Haiyen was known for her unwavering commitment to helping others. She was generous with her time, often going above and beyond to ensure that those around her were cared for. Her colleagues and patients admired her for her expertise and her ability to bring comfort during difficult times.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Palmer Funeral Homes – Welsheimer North Chapel 17033 Cleveland Rd. South Bend, IN 46635. Friends may visit with family from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Online condolences may be left at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
