John K. Seidler, 61 years old, passed away at 12:22 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his home.  John was born on June 1, 1957 in South Bend and remained a lifelong resident, graduating in 1975 from John Adams High School.

Preceded in death by his parents, Dale Carl and Arlene (Freeland) Seidler, John is survived by his six brothers and one sister: Steve (Barbara) Seidler of Tucson, AZ, Mark (Janet) Seidler of Tucson, AZ, Scott (Kathryn) Seidler of Tucson, AZ, Neal (Sherry) Seidler of South Bend, Alan Seidler (Linda) of South Bend, Paul (Joanna) Seidler of Tucson, AZ, and Carol (Andrew) Crews of Huntersville, NC.  John is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews: Rebecca (Jesus), James (Lori), Anne (Dak), Angela, Sara (Matt), Nathan (Brooke), Stella, Kaitlyn (Josh), Ashley (Chris), Adrian, Adam and Lauren.  John is also survived by great nieces and nephews: Mathias, Lillian, Aubrey, Ava, Isabella & Hudson as well as many friends.

A free spirit and a kind soul, John was a longtime employee of Knollwood Country Club.  The family would like to thank them for being part of his extended family and also offer our special appreciation to family friend Brian Madison.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Greenwood Cemetery, 153 Tilden Avenue, Michigan City, IN.  There will be no visitation.  Palmer Funeral Homes and Southlawn Cremation Services is assisting the family.
