MISHAWAKA - Brenda Sue (Coleman) Balash, 52, of Mishawaka, IN passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008, in her home.
Brenda was born on March 29, 1956, in South Bend, IN to Jack N. and Frances (Cotter) Coleman. Brenda was raised in South Bend then moved West. She lived in California and loved it. Brenda returned to South Bend in 1998.
From her marriage to Larry Blivas, Brenda is survived by their two sons, Blake Blivas and Ryan Blivas, both of California; her mother, Frances Coleman of South Bend; three sisters, Nancy (Greg) Coleman-Bogaert of Granger, Shari (Daniel) Herman of South Bend and Margie (Mark) Walker of Granger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her father, Jack Coleman preceded her in death in 1994.
Brenda loved the outdoors and nature. She enjoyed hiking, swimming and biking.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008, in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend.
Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. until the time of services on Sunday in the funeral home.
