MISHAWAKA - On July 4, 2012, our beloved husband, daddy and papa was called home. Dennis Ray Ward was born on October 3, 1941 to Donald and Mildred Ward, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Carolyn; sisters, Carol Sue, Dawn and Debbie; children, Michael (Nancy) Ward, Lori Ward, Kenneth Ward and Jennifer (Brandon) Ludwig; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Dennis was a hard-working man, celebrating 25 years at Martins Supermarket before his retirement in May. He was an avid NASCAR/Jeff Gordon fan and reveled in life and laughter, but above all, loved his family with all his heart.
He spent his last days surrounded in love by his wife, Carolyn, daughter, Jennifer and her husband Brandon, and infant granddaughter, Olivia Rose Ludwig. A private viewing will be held for family members at Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Burial is to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
