Feb. 8, 1939 - May 1, 2004

 

Patricia M. Dickens, 65, an accountant for the Florida Department of Education, died Saturday, May 1, 2004. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. EDT Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with inurnment at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elder Care Services, 2518 W. Tennessee St., Tallahassee, FL 32304. Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel (877-8191) is handling arrangements.

 

A native of South Bend, Ind., she was a longtime resident of Tallahassee. She was a daily communicant of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, where she was active in St. Catherine's Circle and the Altar Society. She was an active volunteer for Elder Care Services.

 

Survivors include four children, Warren Dickens (and wife Lynda), James Dickens (and wife Kathy), both of Tallahassee, Katherine Guzman (and husband Frank) of North Carolina and Karen Dickens of Kansas; a brother, Edward Drada of Michigan; two sisters, Mary Ann Syson of Indiana and Gertrude Larson of Michigan; two grandchildren, Robert Guzman (and wife Erin) and Patricia Guzman; and a great-grandson, Jake Guzman.
