Lynn L. Loutzenhiser

November 27, 1941 ~ July 7, 2024 (age 82)

Lynn “Reg” was born the youngest of nine children to Russell and Bessie Loutzenhiser on November 27, 1941.

He is a graduate of Adams high school and married Patricia Thompson on June 3, 1961.  Lynn then headed off to the army where he served in Germany.  He served his country for over 3 years.

 He and Pat had three children: Kim Neff (Greg), Michele Rieck, Steven (Jenn) Loutzenhiser, 7 grandchildren, Brittney (Austin) Searles, tanner and hunter Rieck, Taylor(Victoria) Neff, Makenzie Neff, Isaac Loutzenhiser, Bethany Loutzenhiser and Riley Loutzenhiser, and four great grandchildren, Octavia and Zahara Searles, Noah Neff, and Elizabeth Loutzenhiser. 

The family enjoyed many years at their cabin in Manistee. Lynn and Pat also enjoyed many years at Hemlock Lake in Marcellus, Michigan after retirement.

 Lynn retired from Materials Handling Clark Equipment corporation for over 30 years working his way up from mechanic to vice president and part owner. 

 He loved watching NASCAR, Notre Dame football, drinking beer, playing ship, captain and crew, and playing the Godfather at family reunions where newly engaged family members would have to talk to him “for his blessing.”

 Lynn was proceeded in death by his wife of 58 Years.  They will be reunited after five years. Rest in peace daddy.

A celebrational in honor of Lynn will be held on Sunday, July 14th at the American Legion, 25751 US 12, Edwardsburg, MI from 1:00 -3:00 PM.
