DianaLynn Heighn, 74, of South Bend passed away peacefully on June 23, 2021, in her home surrounded by those that love her.

She was born in South Bend, Indiana, on Nov. 28, 1946, to Theodore and Shirley (Hogue) Nutting. She had been united in marriage to William C. Harvey Sr., Victor Gary and Jack Heighn, all who preceded her in death.

She will be joining her father, Theodore Nutting, and her beloved son, Steve Harvey, in Heaven. Diana left many behind to cherish her memory including her devoted mother, Shirley Nutting-Eady, and two children William (Rebecca Mayfield) Harvey Jr. and Julia (Kasey) Harvey, and a daughter-in-law, Kimberly (Gary) Purdue. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Tim (Sarah) Harvey, Matthew Harvey, Kayla (Michael) Huegel, Bella Harvey, Stevie Harvey, Christina Purdue and Noel Hanover. She also had seven great-grandchildren: Bruce, Alexander, Theodore, Joanna, Hope, Eleanor, and the newest addition, Jedidiah.

Diana was a hard worker and spent her career contributing to companies such as Liberty Mutual, Towne Air Freight and American Airlines.

Diana was a loving and devoted mother to her children and a beloved only child. She had a delightful sense of humor and a witty personality. She was immensely proud of her children and their families and bragged about them to all who would listen. She is loved greatly by all those left behind to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on Monday, June 28, from noon to 2 p.m., with services to follow.
