David Lynds Cooke

GOSHEN — David Lynds “Dooke” Cooke, 62, of Goshen, passed away at 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
He was born June 10, 1952, in South Bend, to the late Edward and Maxine (Schraeder) Cooke.

Also surviving are a daughter, Stephanie (Michael) Stowe of Niles, Mich.; a son, Cullen Cooke of South Bend; a stepson, Brian (Jennifer) Ivey of Warsaw; grandchildren Taylor Stowe of Niles and Michael Stowe of Niles; four step-grandchildren, Darren Ivey of Mishawaka, Corey Ivey of Granger, Gaigh Shoemaker of Warsaw and Ryder Ivey of Warsaw; and a great-grandson Ryan James Ivey of Mishawaka.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per David’s wish, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
David was a member of the DAV, loved sports and liked to dance.
Memorial donations may be given to Riley Children’s Hospital or the Goshen Homecare and Hospice.
Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
