Louis D Pruett

Louis D. Pruett Jr., 20, of in South Bend, passed away on Friday evening, September 15, 2006, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Louis was born on September 17, 1985, in Chicago, IL. He lived in Chicago for ten years prior to moving to South Bend.

Louis is survived by his parents, Louis D. and Darlene (Rogers) Pruett Sr. of South Bend; his twin brother, Christopher W. Pruett of South Bend; sister, Ashley J. Pruett of South Bend; his three grandmothers, Corine Knitter of South Bend, Anna Pruett of Chicago, and Norma Rogers of South Bend; his fiancé, LeighAnne Parker, with whom he made his home; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be missed by his many dear and close friends.

Louis worked at the Tire Rack, South Bend, for the past four years. He also held a second job at Martin's Supermarket on Ironwood and S.R. 23 for the past four years. Louis attended Little Flower Catholic Church and was a graduate of John Adams High School. He had a love for life. His goal was to be a firefighter. Louis enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and cross-country. He loved motorcycles and cars, especially Camaros.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, in the Little Flower Catholic Church, 54191 North Ironwood, South Bend. Rev. Neil Ryan, CSC, will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 18th in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend.
