Brandan Shawn Stephens, 35, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in South Bend, IN. He was born on December 23, 1986 in South Bend to Greg and Sharon (Halstead) Stephens.

Brandan is survived by his son, Gavin Stephens; his parents; brother, Landon (Chelsea) Stephens; and grandparents, Pearl and Bob Mills. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Kayleigh Williams and her three boys as well as his special friend Amber Moss, who is Gavin’s mother. Additionally, he is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Shari (Stephens) Griffin, Marc Stephens, Rhonda (Pete) Taddeo, William (Lori) Halstead, Michael (Angie) Halstead, Rita (Halstead) Pegg, Dalene (Don) Norris, Rob (Kathy) Bundy, Tim (Timmy) Bundy, and Brad (Jenny) Bundy who he loved spending time with. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dale and Sharon Bundy, and Bill Halstead.

Brandan graduated from Adams High School in 2005. He loved going fishing and won numerous youth bass tournaments. He loved spending time with his family and especially loved the annual family golf outing. He also participated in many baseball and football leagues growing up. Brandan was employed by Steel Warehouse. He lived in the South Bend area all of his life.

Funeral services for Brandan will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN. Rev. Mike Rayburn will officiate. Graveside services will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
