SOUTH BEND - Mr. Andre Lamar Byrd, age 42, who resided on Sorin Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012. Andre was born to Judy Jones Byrd on Jan. 26, 1970, in South Bend, Indiana.

He attended John Adams High School while he lived in South Bend, but he spent many years living in Colorado. His passion was dancing and shooting pool.

Andre was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Jones; a sister, Jettawyn Jones; grandparents, Eddie & Henrietta Byrd; and a aunt, Annette Byrd.

Survivors left to cherish his memory include one brother, Carlos (Christina) Davis of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a niece, Darkenya Davis; a great-niece, Aviauna Davis; 2 loving aunts, Naomi Davis & Brenda Byrd; an uncle, Tommie Byrd; 2 cousins, Felisha Sconiers & Tamiea Northern; and his special friend, Crystal Wright; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2012, at Alford's Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary where messages of condolence may be e-mailed to Alfordmortuary@att.net, c/o the Byrd family.
