LINDA COLEMAN-ROBINSON 

Dec. 6, 1952 - May 17, 2007
SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Linda Darnell Coleman-Robinson, 54, loving mother and grandmother of Leland Ave, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on May 17. Mrs. Robinson was born on December 6, 1952, in Mobile Alabama, to the union of Fletcher and the late Virgie Lee Coleman.

In the summer of 1969, Mrs. Coleman-Robinson was united in Holy matrimony to the late Nathaniel Raymond Robinson Jr. Linda Robinson was a kind and caring woman. At an early age, she joined Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

She graduated from John Adams High School in 1971.

Linda enjoyed things like gardening, sewing and helping all those in need. She was a proud mother, grandmother, homemaker and a wonderful cook. She always had a joyous sense of humor and will be greatly missed by many.

Leaving to mourn her death is her father, Flecther (Dorothy) Coleman; two sons, SF Nathaniel R. Robinson III (Annette) of the United States Army, Fort Belvoir, VA and George A. Smith III of South Bend; a daughter, Shaherah M. "Tweedy Bird" Smith also of South Bend; granddaughter, Camisha Darnell Robinson "Pie Cake"; three grandsons, Shawaun N.A. Smith "Sugga Wugga", Anthony L. Hughes Jr. and Antwone K. Hughes; two brothers, Gerald M. Coleman Sr. and Zarumin W. Coleman Sr.; three beautiful sisters, Mrs. Kyna (Stanley) Doaks of South Bend, Ms. Audrey F. Coleman of Indianapolis, IN., and Ms. Felicia D. Coleman of Chicago; and a favorite niece, Valanda C. "Puddin)" (Keith) Caldwell, along with Shermania "Boo-Boo", and Virgie "Peaches" Coleman of Indianapolis; six nephews, Alandis Coleman of New Orleans, Ashanti Coleman, Mr. Dejuan (Crystal) Coleman, Virgil Coleman, Zarumin W. Coleman II and Gerald M. Coleman II; close friends, Nora Bates and Mary Murray; along with a host of relatives and friends. (Yam).

Linda Robinson was also preceded in death by her mother, Virge Lee Coleman; husband, Nathaniel R. Robinson Jr.; auntie, Cathrine Moss; and maternal and paternal grandparents, Booker T. Hosea, Mary Hosea and Mattie Hosea. Services for Mrs. Linda Darnell Robinson will be at 2 p.m. today, May 19, in the Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home, 2702 Lincolnway West, where friends may call one hour before services. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral services.
