TYCHIUS J. DERRICKSON

Tychius Josias Derrickson, 18, affectionately known as "Ty" passed away Friday June 17, 2022.
Tychius was born in South Bend IN on July 5, 2003 to Tamaine A. & Yolanda E. (Cook) Derrickson, Sr.

Tychius attended John Adams High School. His hobbies were being with his friends, playing video games with brother Wilbur and telling jokes.

Tychius was preceded in death by uncles Roland Campbell and Bobby Joe Cook, grandmoter Pecola Campbell, grandfather Bobby Joe Cook, great grandfather Rev. Robert Derrickson, great grandmothers Ora Lee Blue and Idella Booker, great uncle Robert Derrickson.

Tychius leaves to mourn his passing his parents Tamaine A. & Yolanda E. Derrickson, Sr., sisters Damisha Corley, Jamal Corley, Daiuna Lewis, Tashira Derrickson and Tamaya Derrickson, brothers Wilbur Crawford, and Tamaine Derrickson Jr all of South Bend IN, Durron Cook of Atlanta GA, uncles Jackie (Patricia) Derrickson Jr of South Bend IN, Roman Campbell of Grand Rapids MI, Starsky Cook and Ceasaar Cook both of Indianapolis IN and Edward Campbell of Grand Rapids, MI.

Services will be held at Zion Hill Missonary Baptist Church, 310 West Monroe Street, South Bend IN on Friday June 24, 2022 at 12:00 p.m., with viewing from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Zion Hill. Pastor Chris Derrickson will bring the Word. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford's Mortuary- South Bend, IN.
