JASON EVANS

Jason Stephen Evans May 6, 1969 - March 3, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Jason Stephen Evans, 45, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family and friends. Jason was born on May 6, 1969, in South Bend, IN, to Kathleen D. Mahoney (Mishawaka, IN) and Edward L. Evans, Jr. (deceased).

Jason is survived by his mother, brother, Robbie Evans (Mindy) of Granger, and his sister, Jennifer Prawat of Mishawaka, and his 7 nieces and nephews.

He attended St. Anthony's grade school and John Adams High School.

Growing up, he spent his summers at the McKinley Terrace pool, giving the staff a good run for their money. He moved to Kentucky 12 years ago and had a successful career at hh Gregg, where he was a distinguished member of the President's Club, winning trips to Arizona and Jamaica. In November, he recently moved back to the Mishawaka area to be closer to his loving fiancee, Nikki Voorde. Jason was larger than life in body and spirit. He was a loyal and true Irish son with a heart of gold and closely followed every Notre Dame football season. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his wonderful sense of humor, his amazing ability to tell a story and contagious laughter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Kaniewski Funeral Home, from 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. with a prayer service immediately following at 3:00 p.m. Kaniewski Funeral Home 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN 46628.
