Milton Gale - Class Of 1942 VIEW PROFILE

MILTON GALE

July 15, 1924 - Jan. 11, 2008
HOT SPRINGS, AR - Milton Gale, 83, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died at 10:30 a.m. on January 11, 2008, in Veterans Hospital in Hot Springs. Milton was born in South Bend, IN, and graduated from John Adams High School in 1942.

He served in the United States Army in World War II and the Korean War, where he was wounded.

He operated several used car lots in South Bend prior to moving to Hot Springs around 1947. Milton was national sale manager for Mountain Springs Water for several years before starting his own bottle water company. He was a tremendous salesman. He and his wife of 38 years, Wanda Ann Jackson Gale, were the owners of several business, including used car lots, restaurants and other businesses. Milton and his wife, Wanda, did everything together. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, ATVs and racing.

Together they raised seven children. Along with his wife, Milton is survived by six children, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
