THOMAS H. HAGEDORN

SOUTH BEND - Thomas H. Hagedorn, 60, passed away at 6:55 PM Monday, September 30, 2013, at his home. Tom was born on December 27, 1952, in South Bend, Indiana, to Thomas Hagedorn and Nancy Wilkerson, and had remained a lifelong resident of this area.

He attended high school at John Adams High School and honorably served in the United States Army.

On February 20, 1982, in South Bend, he was united in marriage to Jacqueline A. "Jackie" (Kovach) Hagedorn, who survives.

Tom worked for 30 years with Skyline Manufacturing in Elkhart, and for several years as an inspector with Global Composites in Elkhart. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, having cookouts, and collecting sports memorabilia. He and Jackie also enjoyed riding their scooters together.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline A. Hagedorn; daughter, Heather (Jason) Perez; sons, Justin (Brittany) Hagedorn and Thomas (Taryn) Hagedorn Jr., all of South Bend; nine grandchildren; father, Thomas (Betty) Hagedorn of South Bend; mother, Nancy (Mike) Wilkerson of Arizona; sisters, Carol Heilman of South Bend and Elizabeth Hagedorn of Ohio.

A gathering celebrating the life of Thomas H. Hagedorn will be held at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
