SOUTH BEND - Judith A. "Judy" Hagen, 45, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2007, in her home. Judy was born on April 20, 1961, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident.

She was formerly employed at Hacienda 100 Center, and currently as a Life Enrichment Assistant Dujarie House, Holy Cross Village, Notre Dame, IN, and Memorial Home Care.

Survivors include companion and dear friend, Tom Walters of South Bend, IN; her mother, Phyllis Lawson of South Bend, IN; three sons, Charles Reid Jr. of South Bend, IN, and Brandon Reid, and Justin Hagen of Mishawaka, IN; a grandson, Jaidyn Hagen; a sister, Colleen Grenert of South Bend, IN; three brothers, Tony Grenert, Bobby Peglow and Joshua Lawson, all of South Bend, IN; two stepsisters, Melody Callahan of Plymouth, IN, and Melinda Miller of Cassopolis, MI; two stepbrothers, Donald Ray Lawson and Richard Lawson, both of Mishawaka, IN; and by a special aunt, Joyce Zielinski of New Carlisle, IN.

Preceding her in death were her father, Gerald Hutchison, and her stepfather, Raymond Lawson.

Judy attended John Adams High School and received her B.S. from I.U.S.B. She was a member of the Unity Church of Peace and the Granger Community Church. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #360, Ladies Auxiliary, Mishawaka, IN. Her pride and joy was her dog "Baby Girl."

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2007, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2007, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Riverbend Cancer Institute, Unity Church of Peace or to the Granger Community Church.
