Ryan C Haukaas - Class Of 1999 VIEW PROFILE

 

Ryan CHaukaas, 31, of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 16th in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Ryan was born in South Bend on September 20, 1981 to Ricky and Anne Marie (Bednarek) Haukaas.

He was a graduate of John Adams High School.

He was employed with WRBR "The Bear" and was known as "Reverend Ryno". 

Ryan is survived by his mother, Anne Marie (David L.) Moore of Elkhart, a sister, Rachel E. Haukaas of South Bend, and his best friend, who he thought of as a brother, Mark Edmondson of Mishawaka, along with a half-sister, Patti Stevens Stolting of South Bend, step-sister, Alesha (Joel) Hans of Elkhart, and a step-brother, Bradley Moore of Elkhart. Ryan is also survived by aunts and uncles, Andrea (Rex VanGundy) Bednarek of South Bend, Laurie Bednarek of Mishawaka, Vicky (Larry Morse) Haukaas of Cassopolis, Michigan, Janie Black of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Betty (Chuck) Sulok of Granger, Sandy (Craig Weisweaver) Kilgren of Mishawaka, and John Moore, of South Bend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ricky L. Haukaas, paternal grandparents, Warren and Joyce Haukaas, and maternal grandparents, Albin and Regina Bednarek.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, October 19th from 2pm until 8pm, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. A service celebrating Ryan's life will be held at 11am Saturday, October 20th in the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial fund has been step up by WRBR the Bear, donations may be made at any local Teachers Credit Union under Ryan Haukaas or "Reverend Ryno" or towards the Northern Indiana Foodbank or to the American Heart Association.
