Donald Ray Hoover, 50, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 2:10 p.m., Thursday, November 24, 2005, in Hospice House. Donald was born on September 13, 1955 in South Bend, IN, to Clayton and Minnie (Florence) Hoover.

On February 21, 1998, in Mishawaka, IN, he married Paulette Diane Mangus, who survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Heather Hoover; his father and step-mother, Clayton and Bernie Hoover of Port Charlotte, FL; one step-son, Timothy Mangus of South Bend, IN, one step-granddaughter, Oliva Marie Mangus; three sisters, Shirley Jones of Rushville, IN, Lois Thompson of Mishawaka, IN and Louise (Virgil) Pletcher of Osceola, IN; two brothers, Jack (Deb) Hoover of Monroe, LA and James (Diana) Hoover of South Bend, IN; his mother-in-law, Jeanette Deranek of South Bend, IN; six sister-in-laws, Elaine Kimmel, Karen Giles, Denise Deranek, Brenda Deranek, Rita Wilson, and Amy Deranek; one brother-in-law, David Deranek; and by many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Minnie Hoover; two brothers, William Hoover and Robert Jones; one sister, Mabel Farry; and one niece, Stacy Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2005 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home. Donald attended John Adams High School. He was an avid motorcycle rider and was a member of A.B.A.T.E. Memorial contributions may be made to Donald's family.
