CANDI "SHELLI" (BALENTINE) LUNDGARD

SOUTH BEND - Candi "Shelli" Michelle (Balentine) Lundgard, 40, of South Bend, IN passed away at 7:00 AM on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her home. Shelli was born on February 25, 1971 in Bossier City, LA. Her father, Edwin Earl Balentine (Debbie) of Ward, AR, and her mother, Rebecca (Klatt) Goldsmith of South Bend, both survive.

Shelli has been a lifelong resident of this area moving to South Bend from Bossier City, LA as a young child. She attended John Adams High School and took classes at IUSB. Shelli enjoyed being a "stay at home mom."

She was a member of the Grace Community Church in Mishawaka. She loved her family, friends, church family, and her 891 Facebook friends.

Shelli was married to Robert Lundgard, Sr. on July 2, 1993 in Lake Worth, FL. He, along with their three children, Breyla, Michael, and Robert, Jr. survive. Also surviving is Shelli's brother, Aaron M. Balentine of South Bend; her grandparents Edward Klatt (Gladys) of Mishawaka; and several uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Candy and Ada Balentine.

A Memorial Service for Shelli will be held at 10:00 AM TODAY, Friday, December 23, 2011 in the Grace Community Church, 4001 Lincolnway East, Mishawaka, IN. Rev. Rick Graves will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Candi M. Lundgard Trust Fund at Key Bank for her three children.
