KATHLEEN (GEE) MARKS

SOUTH BEND - Kathleen M. Marks of South Bend, IN, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011, as the result of an auto accident in Cass County, MI. Kathleen was born on January 31, 1954, in South Bend, IN, to Charles "Chuck" and Barbara Gee. She lived in the South Bend area all of her life.

Kathleen is survived by her stepson, Shawn (Stephanie) Marks of South Bend; and granddaughter, Jayden Garza of Mishawaka.

Her daughter, Stacey Marks, her grandson, Devin C. Stone, and Stacey's boyfriend, Curtis Ray Stone Sr., all died as the result of the same accident.

Kathleen loved her grandkids. She was an avid Notre Dame fan. Kathleen was a free spirit who loved people.

She graduated from John Adams High School.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2011, in Calvary Chapel, 53494 Fir Road, Granger, IN. Pastor Bob Moore of Calvary Chapel will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM until time of services on Tuesday in the church. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, is assisting the family with arrangements.
