BARRY A. MCFARLAND

SOUTH BEND - Barry Allan McFarland, 54, of Richmond, Va., died March 11, 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer McFarland; sisters, Sherryl (Leslie) Gruber and Janice (David) Smith; his brothers, Thomas and Patrick McFarland; special brother, Barry Cohen; and his beloved dogs, Molly and Maggie.

Born July 14, 1953, in South Bend, Ind., he attended John Adams High School, and moved to Richmond, Va., in 1978.

He worked for B Square Cable Contractor, a contracting company for Comcast Cable Vision for 27 years. Barry's loves were collecting Civil War artifacts and fishing. He was a beloved father, brother and friend, and touched peoples' lives with his humor and love.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service that will be held in his honor at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008, at 13542 Mountain Road (B Square Cables Shop), two miles west of I-295 on Route 33.
