Betty (Murphy) Siri

FORT WAYNE - Betty Siri, aged 91 years, of Ft. Wayne, IN, formerly of Mishawaka, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

Betty was born on January 25, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana to Edith and Kenneth Murphy and was graduated from John Adams High School. She married George Siri on January 29, 1944 with whom she celebrated the sixty-seventh anniversary of their wedding prior to his death in 2011. They resided in Mishawaka until 1973, spending summers at Diamond Lake. In 1973 they made Florida their home until 2011. Betty has lived in Fort Wayne the past 6 years. She was preceded in her death by a grandson, Ryan Siri, and her sister, Marjorie Martin.

Surviving family includes her children, Linda (& Dr. Raymond) Kubisch of Santa Barbara, California, Tricia (& Dale) Pequignot of Fort Wayne, and Michael (& Diane) Siri of Wauconda, Illinois. She was also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Linda and Michael would like to extend their gratitude to their sister, Tricia, for taking such great care of Mom these past 6 years.
