SHERRY TAYLOR-HERRON

SOUTH BEND - Sherry Lynn Taylor-Herron, 60, a resident at 1433 Woodcrest, South Bend, passed from this life at 11:36 a.m. on March 12th in Chino, CA. Sherry was born in South Bend, Indiana, on August 10, 1947, from the union of Thomas and Mamie Taylor. She was the second oldest of five siblings and gave her life to Christ at an early age at First A.M.E. Zion Church. She was a member of the Life Council and senior choir, and the missionary department.

She graduated from John Adams High and she attended Vincennes University.

Sherry had two sons, Thomas Lee Taylor, who preceded her in death, and Karlwin Taylor.

Sherry enjoyed many things, attending First A.M.E Zion Church, singing in the church choir, bingo, dancing, and watching her stories.

Loving family members who survive to cherish her memory are her son, Karlwin Taylor, wife Kozetta; two grandsons, Kaylan and Kendel; her brother, William Thomas Taylor (Bernadette); and sisters, Jacqueline Sutton (Cash), Toni McDonald (Terry) and Lesley Taylor; 16 nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services for Sherry L. Taylor Herron will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, in the First A.M.E. Zion Church, where friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with services.
