Andrew Herbert Bibbs 

Services for Andrew Herbert Bibbs, 62, of 15277 Montecito Drive, Granger, who died at 11 p.m. Saturday, Jul 23, 1988, in Memorial Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Pilgrim Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Alfords Mortuary.

Mr. Bibbs retired in 1987 from South Bend Community- School Corp. as assistant principal at Adams High School and retired in 1969 from the Air Force after 20 years of service.

He was born Jan. 3, 1926, in South Bend On June 15, 1958, in Salina, Kan., he married Jean Lee, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Suzette Bibbs of Kansas City, Mo.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Kizer of South Bend

Mr. Bibos was a member of the church, Principals Association of South Bend Kappa Alpha Phi Fraternity, Par Putters Association of South Bend, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9733 and past board member of Hansel Center.

He was a graduate of Central State University, Wilberforce, Ohio, and received his masters degree from Xavier College, Cincinnati.
