Joseph S. Karwowski

Joseph S Karwowski. 53, of 134 Marquette Ave, died at 1 30 am today in his home after a heart attack. He was born on July 29, 1926, in South Rend and lived here all his life He was a teacher at Adams High School, where he coached football and wrestling. He had also taught at Lincoln Elementary and Jackson Middle Schools and was instrumental in starting the junior high wrestling program.  He was also active in the city recreation department

On June 11. 1960, in South Bend, he married Marian Schultz, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters. Mary Ann, Carol M and Susan L, all at home, three sons, Edward R , Joseph R and Robert M , all at home, and four sisters, Miss Henrietta Karwowski and Irene Schubert, , both of South Bend, Anne Riska ot Chicago and Mary Dorn of Lansing
