Ricky Bridges Sr

Services for Ricky Bridges Sr., 31, of 1215 Elkhart, formerly of South Bend, who died at 2:45 a.m. Saturday in his home, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Clark's Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the funeral home.

Elkhart County Coroner Carl Yoder said death was caused by a cocaine overdose. Yoder said it appeared the overdose was accidental. Mr. Bridges was born May 14, 1959, in South Bend, where he lived until moving to Elkhart last August. He is survived by three daughters, Candace Danzy and April Danzy, both of Dowagiac, and Vida Bridges of South Bend; a son, Ricky Jr.

at home; his parents, Clara Cotton and McClaude Bridges Sr., both of South Bend; a sister, Joyce Lockett of South Bend; and five brothers, William Newsome and Isaaz Hunt, both of South Bend, Terry Bridges of Atlanta, McClaude Bridges Jr. of Michigan City, and Mark Reed of Vista, Calif.

He attended Adams High School
